stopped hear passing through for some run of the mill chinese buffet. got what i came for. middle of the road chinese food. the lo mein was very good. i would eat here again

I hate confrontation as is one of the first bad reviews I have written, but sadly this needs to be said as we were humiliated and berated for asking one simple question. Pulling up to the Peking restaurant with a small group at 12:30pm Sunday, we read ”9.25 lunch” on their front door and decided to stop and enjoy their buffet. After getting a plate of noodles, chicken broccoli, sweet and sour chicken, rice, and a bowl of wonton, I sat down ready to eat my meal. However, the wonton had the taste of soap, the sweet and sour chicken tasted microwaved, and the rice and noodles were cold and stale. Disappointed, I kindly set my plate aside and headed back to the buffet to find other alternatives to eat. The other members of my group did as well when they were disappointed in their meal. A little while later, after settling on what little tasted good, we were handed a check with 11.25 per person instead of the 9.45 promised on the door. When asking the server why it was 11.25, she yelled in front of everyone in the room that we had taken and eaten too much, humiliating us. Asking the question again while we were about to pay, we were met with instant screams from the manager and the server which caught the attention of the entire restaurant, who were also mad at the bait and switch pricing and the buffet’s mention of a limitation they weren't informed of. We showed them their sign which said ”9.25” with no mention of limitations intending to deescalating the situation, and instead of apologizing, we were met with lies, cover ups, and screams from the staff asking us to never come back for asking such a question and showing them their sign. Worst buffet experience in my lifetime. Please avoid.

Absolutely terrible! Got screamed at by several employees just for asking a question about the price of the meal. It is clear that the employees are just writing in whatever prices they want and hoping no one will ask any questions. If you dare to eat here, be ready for a screaming match, questionable food, and refreshing tap water!

I will not EVER be returning to this establishment. It was the worst service I have ever experienced. The entire buffet was full of cold, small portions that were only refilled every millennium. We were charged an extra $13 total for this questionable food than what was posted on the front door (9.45 per person). When we calmly asked why this was the case, multiple employees started screaming at us and pointed to the door with the same price on it. We ended up paying $60 instead of $47 so be prepared for whatever price they throw at you when entering.
