Pretty cool zoo. Kids were able to feed the giraffes, camels, goats, and others by hand. Able to feed other like warthog, monkeys, and bears through a tube.

Well maintained and great selection of wildlife for a West Virginia zoo! The Kodiak bears were playful and enjoyable to watch running around in their habitat while we visited. The giraffes are always fun to feed, and parakeet room was a blast.

Great place to visit! The animals are beautiful and you can get really close to them. My little boy loved it there.

Unexpectedly a very nice zoo 👍🏼 the size of the zoo and number of animals is perfect. Super friendly staff. Very entertaining during October with the Halloween 🎃 decorations and treats given out to kids. Get the carrots 🥕 to feed the giraffe 🦒 you can also feed different animals. Worth the visit.

There's a $10 bag that comes with every food available for all the animals. There are also dispensers around the zoo you can buy food from for a quarter. It's $4 for cut carrots to feed the giraffes may as well spend the extra 6 and get all the foods available.
Yes. It's paved so it's stroller, and wheelchair friendly.
$12 adults. Ages 3-12 $10 and 2 and under FREE.
It opens April 14th
It is a great place for kids it has a decent amount of animals you can feed most of them. I will say its not extremely huge but in my opinion its well worth it I took my grandsons 2 days in a row cuz they loved it an its not expensive
I believe they are open 10-6 today.
They have inside barn for them
They are open everyday 10-6.
Yes you have to wear masks in the store's for your safety as well as others
No reservations needed, however you need a mask to be inside the shop. One is not needed once you're back outside.
No, they do not rent wheelchairs, but in the past they have taken visitors that can't walk or have a motorized chair, through on one of the John Deere Gators they have. Arrangements would need to be made with them ahead of time, I'm sure.
Yes, but only while in the building where you buy tickets, gifts or snacks.
I don't know, you will need to contact the zoo.
Except for the alligator at the bottom of the hill, you can walk to everything else without struggle. All walkways are paved or boardwalked. A wheelchair wouldn't be a problem. Fences and railing around each animal could be used for balance. He will be able to feed the animals standing or seated.
Its 12.99 per adult and 10.99 for kids 3-10. And its 9.99 for an animal food package.
Ok thanks everyone for the answers much appreciated.
Yes, but you have to view them through your vehicle at the beginning of entrance!
Adults $12. and children $10.
Indeed. There is even a small picnic area near the playground/parking area!
Compared to Florida zoos, very inexpensive. We loved it. Very vocal male lion. Very affectionate al pacas.
I think they are still under $20. Hoodies/Sweatshirts might be more.
You can also feed the birds on a rainy day.
Hi Suzanne, Hovatter's does not sell parakeets. However, you can feed the birds there! Nearby place to check for parakeets would be at PetSmart in Morgantown at 4101 University Town Center Drive.
0-3 is free 3-13 $10 Adults $12
I sent believe the offer strollers!! Would be a wonderful addition!
