The restaurant was very good. All the food was well made and fairly priced. I enjoyed the cocktails. The service was great and I enjoyed the entire dining experience with one exception. The third floor private rooms get very warm. Uncomfortably hot even. This is not likely to be a typical dining experience though unless you have a large party in the middle of summer so it's not worth lowering the rating. I would definitely dine again, on the ground floor.

Tremendous. Really liked this place and am looking forward to coming back in the future. Looks like they try hard to use locally grown ingredients in all their dishes. Large seating area including a second floor, an outdoor patio, and indoor seating. Also has a bar area. Portions were generous and quality of food was excellent. A definite recommend!

Brunch at Magnolia is incredible. It makes this restaurant for me. The mimosa flights were the best I’d ever had. I am on a gluten-free anti inflammatory diet, and they had plenty of things I could eat. Every weekend we think about coming back for this brunch. It’s very well done, the service is fast, and the food is good!

A great place for a nice dinner out, a special occasion or Sunday brunch. Magnolias is housed in a beautifully restored and converted mill, with large rooms, comfortable seating and excellent attentive service. Most recently we chose Magnolias for our family New Years Eve dinner and they did not disappoint. The food was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked and well presented. Cocktails were also on point and the desserts were decadent. Highly recommend the Virginia bison burger, especially if you’ve never tried bison before. The steak with chimichurri sauce was flavorful and tender. Shrimp salad was also a big hit, and enormous. Easily big enough to serve as a side salad for the whole table. If you’re planning to go I would recommend reservations, especially for the very popular Sunday brunch or holidays. It’s easy to book on open table or by phone.

Yes, Magnolias at the Mill is open Mon-Thurs 11am - 11pm, Fri- Sat 11am -12pm, and Sun 11am - 9pm.
Yes they have covered outdoor patio...pet friendly stuff...
You must wear your mask moving around the restaurant, but can remove it when you are seated at the table.
Yes on brunch..call for hours
They do serve groups seated family-style around one table with proper social distancing from other groups at other tables as required. The wait staff is good at making accommodations. Calling ahead to discuss any specific need with them and to make a reservation is recommended.
yes
We dropped in for dinner and were seated right away. Best restaurant according to a local friend .
Yes. You can find it in their website under special events. 7 course dinner.
Magnolias At the Mill is a first class restaurant. The food and wine and service are the level of much more expensive places.. Parking can be tight but that means a little longer to walk.
