Went in to grab a drink before dinner on Father's Day. There were literally two tables occupied in the entire restaurant. They turned us away and said they didn't have capacity even for cocktails because it could "disrupt their service." Would never go back or recommend.

First off, this 2 star rating is because of food and price, not service or people. The restaurant workers were GREAT, the service was great, the food was not. I got the scallops and jumbo shrimp with mashed potatoes for $39 dollars. Portion size was very small and the 2 shrimp were VERY over cooked and the 2 scallops were very slightly undercooked. Overall, the taste was fine, just needed to be cooked better. I would never recommend this restaurant because of the price for the quality of food.

So disappointed… I’ve been dining at The Rail Stop Restaurant for a long time. Always has been a wonderful experience, except for this last time. This was a special occasion for my wife and family. We all ordered the prime steak dinner but there appeared to have been a problem in the kitchen… All four steaks came out burned! I understand kitchen accidents happen, but it was the chef’s choice to serve burned steaks. I just don’t understand that. Also they have change the recipe for the herb butter steak topping, which is just not as good as it used to be. We tried to make the best of a bad situation but the burn steak literally left a bad taste in everyone’s mouth. Service and quality is what it’s all about. So disappointing.
