We just recently stayed at this campground for the first time. The entire row of sites near us was empty all weekend. The pool was nice, but not enough chairs because people would "save" all the chairs. The bathroom near the pool was always disgusting making it non useable. The sites are so close together that our awing almost touched the next trailers slide outs. And we could not move over more because of our slides. Our site was also almost 80% dirt. Luckily it did not rain or it would have been a muddy mess. They need to add fresh grass or consider gravel on sites that are dirt. They have a lot of seasonals at the campground. And a lot look like they were put there twenty years ago and not maintained since, but accumulating stuff on the sites. there are some newer park models and newer campers mixed in as seasonals also. The old ones definitely need to be cleaned up or go. The larger bathroom near the soccer field was clean. The website can also use some updating with additional information including rules/faq's etc. The organized activities were not good the weekend we were there. The movie at night was not even outside, you were supposed to go in your camper to watch it. The idea of camping is to be outside. Perhaps if it is raining then offer an indoor movie or under a pavilion. The DJ was good and played decent music. The mini gold course was terrible and really small. The lake was nice to Kayak and swim in the roped off swim section. We did see a worker/security yelling at a bunch of kids/early teens because they were all playing in the hot tub. Which was good because they were acting obnoxious all over the campground. Cursing and dropping F-bombs continuously. The store was stocked. We didn't get the soft serve ice cream since it was a bit pricey. The pickle ball courts look like they were redone recently and look nice. And they had a nice playground. It could be a nicer campground if they clean it up a bit and refresh the sites. And make some activity updates. Unfortunately they still cram you in really small sites.

If you are looking for a great campground that suits the whole family, or just looking to get away for a weekend as a couple this place should be in the top five of your list. They offer great features like boating on the lake, a great pool, cabins for rent, and lots of activities on the grounds for everyone. The staff is great. They also have a general store with all your camping supply needs. Iβve stayed here about five times and I always go with a cabin, theyβre clean , they have air conditioning and a bathroom, which trust me , if you have to walk through the woods in the middle of the night to go to the shared bathrooms itβs definitely an experience. Not a good one though. Cable tv in the cabins, lots of space and clean grounds.

Loved it there. Was visiting a family member who is a seasonal. So now I want to get a spot there. πβ₯οΈ

We made reservations months ago for a camping trip but days before my wife contacted covid and we asked to reschedule. They told us we needed to pick a day from their availability and we agreed but since it was part of a group we needed to make sure dates worked for the other party. Apparently, since we didn't get back to them that very same day (mind you battling covid) that we had forfeit the $250 spent on the reservation without any future reservations available to us. They were pretty rude to my wife about it too. After looking at most of the other reviews, I think it was good we didn't end up camping there anyway.
