I was very pleased with Dr. Francisco Maderal’s professionalism and the office staff, Anesthesiologist and nurses. I plan to visit him again in 5 years for my next colonoscopy. I would have rated 5 stars if not for the following experience. I was very frustrated in never getting a call back after repeated calls and messages left with the answering service asking for confirmation of my colonoscopy date, time and if there was a co-payment. I had my initial consultation with Dr. Maderal 3 1/2 weeks prior to the scheduled Colonoscopy. I never received a call or text from the office prior to my procedure to reconfirm my procedure appointment. I called the office many times starting 3 days before my procedure to verify my appointment and each time was told by the answering service they would send an urgent message to the office. My first call was at 4pm on Friday. I expressed my concern that I needed to verify that my procedure date and time was still confirmed as initially planned before I started to take the prep solution. Like I mentioned that my procedure appointment was made 3 1/2 weeks prior and therefore was expecting a reconfirmation in case of any schedule changes. Not only did I have anxieties over the prep and procedure, now this was escalated not knowing if my procedure was going to take place as scheduled. In spite of not receiving any response from the office, I continued to take the prep as indicated and went to the office for the procedure as scheduled. Thankfully, I was on schedule and the procedure and services were excellent. I would recommend there is a process in place to contact the patient a few days prior to reconfirm their procedure appointment. Thank you.

Hi for me five stars is not enough I went to see the doctor two weeks in a row for different procedures the moment you walk in you feel at home starting from the front desk the girls are very nice the girls in the back that gets you ready there very helpful and last but not least the doctor is a very nice person talks to you and explain everything his going to do and after he sees you and tell you how everything went thank you guys so much.

Doctor Maderal is the best. He takes his time to explain things to you and doesn't feel that he's in a rush to go to the next patient. The staff is very a tentative and also very helpful in explaining things. If you have a GI issue, this is the place to go.
