This is a welcome area to stroll and enjoy some soothing birdsong as you enjoy the lake, or walking path. Also a great off- leash dog park too.

Plenty of paved trails with play grounds for the kids. I noticed several turtles sunning around the lake. I was there in late April and the trees were beautiful.

This was one of the greatest dog parks I've ever been to. The trails inside of the off-leash dog park were a fantastic idea. As well as the off path that go through the wooded areas is absolutely great. I found the park well cared for and the people and dogs very friendly. Way to go Overland Park for creating a fantastic park for all to enjoy.
