This overall score does not reflect the quality of all the experiences with this salon over the past 15 years. However, it does indicate the experience from my recent visit. I was one of the first patrons of the day and Beverly Huhs was the cosmetologist who cut my hair or should I say hacked. Traditionally, I see Crystal who does a phenomenal job, however I needed to get in today for an event I was having this evening. While in her chair Beverly trimmed my hair well shorter than I had requested taking the sides down beyond the guard always used (notated in the CRM). I requested only a small amount of hair be removed from the top specifically asking for a 1/4", but she hacked more than a half inch. When blending the sides and the top the transition was sloppy and noticeable. When she had already lopped off the sides and hacked the top I was already in it, so I waited until the pain of it all was over. She asked me at the conclusion what I thought of it, so I told her that I thought it was a bad haircut. I even proceeded to pull my cash out to pay and purchase additional product. She didnt come to the register to assist me on finalizing my sell, but instead went into the back yelling I dont cut hair badly and to leave. While in the back of the store she complained to one of the veteran stylist Les about how I was wrong, which could be heard throughout the store. I patiently waited at the register. Finally, after minutes passed Beverly comes out the door and starts yelling at me the haircut isnt bad and that I needed to get out of the store now. Worst customer experience I've had in a long time and would never let Beverly cut my hair. I've since gone to another salon to have my hair blended again to correct the poor job.

Great place to get a clean fresh haircut. Customer service is entirely too kind for Johnson County. They are patient, considerate & will exhaust every means possible to fulfill your hairstyle request. They guarantee satisfaction, simply keep your receipt and if for some reason your unhappy, return to the same Great Clips you received your service (be sure to bring your receipt) and they will refund you in full. Even though they offer this, I have never heard of anyone request a refund. A+ company serving C+ customers. People have taken great customer service for granted these days. No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
