I love this butcher shop on a food level and ethical level! I was a vegetarian for over a decade and I still don't eat a lot of meat but when I do, I like to know I am supporting local farms with good farming practices. Believe it or not you can taste the difference between the meat (go figures that having a happier life means you taste better). If you aren't sure, get their chicken and compare it to others. It's like a chicken had a chicken that was basted in a chicken. Standing's has a zero wast policy as well and their sausage combos are a testament to how passionate these foodies are. They have a great selection to choose from and if you are ever unsure about what to get or how to cook some meat they will never lead you astray.

Cool local butcher. Knowledgeable and friendly. They often have a little pop up outside called Burger Daddy where they grill up an amazing burger for you.
