Staff was nice and food was quick however, quality was below average, the first time I’ve ever had an egg roll with just cabbage. The shrimp as well as the rice were very bland and it was mostly just rice and broccoli which is a bit off a rip off, went there on a Saturday night and it was completely dead

This was the first time I tried this restaurant in South Bound Brook. The customer service was fantastic; I was pleased when the cashier confirmed my order and made sure to inform me that the food had pork in it, as a person of Indian descent I appreciate his awareness of my culture.

Golden Star is our go-to favorite for Chinese takeout. Consistent dishes, good quality, good prices, friendly people, and local business! Service is usually quick, but definitely check your takeout order because sometimes they get busy and miss a sauce or side.
