I usually don't trust bakeries that have a huge selection but this place is AMAZING! So many different options, and nothing we got was a miss. Most of the pastries are $1-2 so you really get whatever you want. The puff pastry was so well done. I have zero idea how they produce such high quality food at such volume. The place does get crowded but don't worry, it is run with an extremely high efficiency. It is worth the wait!

Good location, this is one place where to get great food. Everything they sell is tasting exceptional, most of the food is organic and the price is right, less expensive than others but better quality. And it looks like a lot of people like the quality since the place was packed. The store is split into Bakery and Restaurant, so eating on the spot is a great option, but also, getting food, cookies and cakes for later is another option. Visiting LA area should always include a meal at Porto's!

Great place, arranged lines for order and takeout orders. Dedicated 1 personnel from receiving orders to payout and takeout orders. Delicious yet affordable price. Their signature pastry is the cheese rolls, flaky yet delicious cheese fillings with no aftertaste butter sticking to your palate.

I had a family friend bring this from North Carolina to have me try it and it was bomb. Now that I am on a trip to LA, thought I would travel to taste it baked at the spot. FOOD WAS AMAZING, the potato balls were very warm and soft, grilled chicken sandwich was very savory, flavorful and the chili sauce gave a good hint of spice, the mango smoothie was fresh and smooth. Finally the pastries they were nice and gave me a satisfying sweet tooth. So far I have been eating here through out long trip and would always have this as my favorite bakery. Thank you Noel for having us in your bakery and his fellow workers Oscar, and the waiter sorry if I didn’t catch your name, but overall the best bakery I’ve ever had!!!

It is a family business, so you'd have to convince someone in the family to mover there.
They are rich those of fruit tart, and mango cheesecake. He loves many people.
And
You can't order in advance. You need to check the schedule the day you want to order. Refresh the page multiple times since times Refresh constantly. Also do not go to directly to the back parking lot. Most likely, you will be in a huge line in the main street before you can get to the parking lot
I'm sure they don't discriminate if you want a flower on a man's cake. I'm sure they dont care really.
You can call Porto's they can accept your credit card over the phone.
$ 50.00 approx.
Ami personally I like all the cakes over time I have tried almost all the delicious sanwiches everything is gurmet type and a lot of quality.
Look at there menu
I would call their Human Resources department to follow up on your application
Yes they do make special order cakes. I believe you need an appointment now.
It is already open!
If everything made at PORTO'S BAKERY is top quality and delicious and the cakes are extremely RIQUISIMOS, everything is five STARS ... I recommend it.
Answered
Yes, you can do that using their website.
I do not work for Porto's I'm just merely a customer if I'm not mistaken they may have them but you may want to double check by calling or checking their online menu good luck and Happy Thanksgiving. Trying on Union bakery hopefully you go early enough and you will get them.
For the protection of the employees, dine in isn't available yet. Not sure if it's not available at full capacity or at all, you'd be better off calling the store directly.
They have tables infront the Restaurant and you can take your food there
They seemed very safe. They were masks and spoke to us through the window from a distance. We stayed in our car until they brought out our food and delivered it to us.
No.. no yet.!!!! Just curb side pick up.!!!
You might want to call and ask
As this pandemic is happening. You have to make an online order. Pay online. Pick it up on the time you determined.
7 am. at 4 p.m. but you can only order online and pick it up at the parking
If you feel that you were cheated. Go back and complain. I have done it. They should make it good for you. Rule of thumb, check your order before you pay.
Look on the Porto's Bakery website and phone them. There are places that do custom cakes, if Porto's doesn't.
no sorry
I think is only delivery for the items that are ready to cook at your house, for the fill menu you need to go to the stores
Front of store...& back of store... You might have to pay a little something. Porto's is worth it.
Look like they do postmates or doordash
Calling orders in is super annoying, especially during busy hours. I'd complain directly to them, because that's absolutely unacceptable. FYI, Cafe Merengue is also really good if you're ever in old town Monrovia.
I've never seen a sign banning dogs, but I have. never seen a dog in the bakery.
You must call them first. What I want to know is who is thinking of croquettes and empanadas at 1 in the morning?
They deliver specialty cakes thast are $100 and up (weddings and etc). Delivery us about $25.
Take him to eat there, I recommend it
Hi Nancy! Just go to their website and click bake home, it'll show you the items you can order just add the ones you like and enter your info.
I do not know exactly, but they already have cakes made. But if you need something special then order it in advance
They are all delicious .. but if you have the opportunity to ust. Try as we all have different taste .. there are individual like flan, creme brulee, bread pudding, rumbaba, fresh fruit tart, strawberry short cake, milk berries! And those mentioned! So you will have an idea of what to pick up and have individual for those who are picky. All have different price and for all occasions! So everything depends ... Good luck
It has very large variety it is better to go and ayi everything is good
You do what you want!
I did not order that one. Their pastries are super good.
I don't think they are open Christmas.
I would call first. The last time I was there I did not see the EBT sign.
They have different line for pick up. But I don't think that they have uber delivery
No to petite fours, but rgey do have scones
Porto’s Bakery was born out of Rosa Porto's love for sharing her wonderful cakes and pastries with friends and family.
Call their bakery department there pretty helpful.
Porto's delivers only if you've already pre purchased your order in the store.
Yes, they have gift cards
I think you would have to call the business or go personally
Located in LA area. It has varieties of good stuffs.very Clean and lots people. I highly recommended
Of course!!
According to the website, 5am Christmas Eve.
If you are visiting Porto's on Christmas Eve, pack a lot of patience because you are NOT going to be the only one there! Half of the City is going to be there, including me! Good luck!
No, THAT hurts IS SO GOOD, I love ...
Open on THURSDAY 5am-4pm Closed on Friday
No. But you can order one that you perzonalizen. It is ordered with time for the day you want it.
I have no idea, it depends how you want it
And
The food is Cuban cuisine. One of my favorites is the vege-tarino sandwich. It's a vegetarian option but full of flavor. The potato balls are customer favorites. Plantain chips with garlic sauce are a big hit as well and the deserts are amazing My suggestion, scan the menu, find something that appeals and give it a try.
No, only in Southern California
