I was ther yeterday for the first time, and now is my favorite place to get all leather related stuff. People in the store are very friendly and helpfull. I was able to find all I needed and more.

Visited today for the first time. It's in a scary part of town, but don't let that deter you. It's a warehouse: you go in, and there are racks and racks of leather hides all around you. Price tags are non-existent: the guys at the counter will tell you the prices of everything per square foot, and you buy by the entire hide, NOT by the square foot! All hides are marked with their square footage on the back side. And these are bargains. I got a gorgeous 11.25 square foot piece of 3 oz. oil tan leather for under $22 including tax. That means it was under $2.00 a square foot. That's less than a THIRD of what you will pay on Amazon or eBay or Etsy or Tandy or Weaver. I had to drive 45 minutes each way to get here and get home, but man, it was so worth it. I will not be purchasing leather anywhere else ever again. There was a discount section that had leather for $1.75 per sq. foot-- these were mostly very soft chrome tan pieces, some quite large, and there were bins of scrap leathers at $3/ pound. The scraps really were "scraps"-- there was nothing large enough in any of these bins for doing even a small project in one piece, but if you are willing to work with pieces, these are also a bargain. Again, the guys here do not cut leather-- you cannot purchase half a hide, or only a few square feet of a hide. You purchase the whole hide, whatever size it is, and you pay per square foot of it. And when you are done, you walk out with a smile knowing you got a great deal on it. Seriously. This place was amazing.
