BEWARE if you are a female customer. I feel like we were targeted because we are females in a tackle shop, a fishing store, a hobby that most men like to do. Think about it, will you follow around 2 men looking at your products wearing a pressed black buttoned up shirt and well fitted slacks carrying a wallet around 5:30pm (after work hours) that entered your tackle shop? Will you also accuse them for stealing a bag of $1.99 bass sinkers?? Well sir, you do not have to worry because I will not come back to your store because you do not deserve my business. You do not have the right to think that we do not have any business being inside a fishing store just because we are females. But guess what, I just happen to be an avid angler and I fish practically EVERY weekend (both salt and freshwater) which is why I am a frequent and known customer at The Longfin and Bob Marriott's Fly Fishing Store. My co-worker (female) and I (also a female) finally had the time to check out the store since our office relocated in the area last week. Since it was after work we walked in, in our business casual/business attire. They initially asked us what we need. But since it's our first time we want to see what services and products they have to offer in case we need anything when we go on fishing trips. Since we were not really looking for any specific items we just told the employees and maybe the owner that we are just browsing. As we walk through the aisle, my coworker noticed that they are following us but she did not mention anything until the end. Just before we left, I decided to look at the smaller and lighter weights that were towards the bottom of the racks. I like to using them when I am fishing for trout or bass. I grabbed onto the bag to see how many ounces per weighr is but I did not remove it from the rack because I do not like how the material were shiny. I stood up and the old asian man (might be the owner) called me to go to the counter. I walked to the front of the counter but he gestured for me to go around to where he is on the other side. He then continued and pointed to his computer screen and asked if the person on the computer was me. I identified that, that the person on the screen is me. I love this place,it has a wide selection of plastics and crankbaits plus Hook up baits and a big @#$ selection of kustom rod made by a master rod maker and they ahave a parrot that speaks Korean lol that's awesome
