Honestly, Governor's Green wasn't in my top 5 picks of where I wanted to move - HUGE OVERLOOK on my behalf! Of all the shiny new communities that are within a 15-20 mile radius these apartments are hands down the BEST! My home feels like it was made just for me, the neighbors are nice, the leasing staff is very helpful and as professional as they can be and overall I'm so glad that I was directed to this community. I will definitely be here until I get married or purchase a home - whichever comes first but for now, I'm kicking up my feet and getting really cozy here!

Governor Greens has a new Property Manager ( Ms. G. Love) she has really done a lot of great work since she taken over in a short period of time. She will always talk with you about any issues and will follow up right away with them. The new Property Manager has done a lot of upgrades around the community and has make Governor Greens look much better. She is the best Property Manager I have come across living in a apartment complex before. The maintenance crew is the best, they fix things in a timely manner, and the ladies in the office are always nice and polite. Before the new management took over in September of this year, I was going to move, now I did another one year lease because of new management. Great place to live and raise your children, clean and quiet and a safe place to be.

My husband and I moved our little family here in august of 2020 thinking it would be the best experience for our little ones. The apartments are nice but you have no access to the amenities that’s you’re basically paying for. The pools closed for the 2021 summer season, the playground is chained up with no access and the fitness center is no longer a fitness center. They state online that they have a clubhouse but the leasing office is the clubhouse that the resident are not able to use. Plus side is they have grilling areas if you want to have a small gathering with family and friends. Because the lease is electronically done don’t think you will be able to register your kid for school. The schools require for the leasing office to provide a letterhead statement stating the lease is still valid and you still resign at their community along with the actual lease. The property manager continuously states they are unable to provide that letter and is not sure how you will register your child. Working in property management myself I know this can be done. However she kept stating it cannot be done. It’s very frustrating paying all this money to stay here with no resources that’s willing to help. She’s telling us we cannot get a signed document and the child has to be on the lease. FOR CONVENTIONAL HOUSING YOUR CHILD DOES NOT GO ON THE LEASE UNLESS HE/SHE IS 18 YEARS OR OLDER! The property manager is very new, a week in to be exact and clearly doesn’t know much. She also went as far as to tell us how she used to work in PG County school systems when we already know what we need to register our son. On the other note Ms Cynthia is the best. Every encounter we’ve had with her has been very pleasant. She answers all your questions promptly and follows up to ensure everything went well. I don’t know her job title but for all the residents staying on this property talk to Ms Cynthia she will take care of you. She helped us with the grilling area for my soon to be 1 year old birthday party. And once everything was set she ensured me she will work the day of to make sure we are taken care of and the grounds are clean. They do not have rodent issues which is amazing however we did have ant and spider issues during the cold and warmer months. I do not know if the Beatles are getting in through the ventilation system but we’ve dealt with those as well. Maintenance respond quickly as they can I assume. We’ve had multiple of plumbing issues since we’ve moved in including the dryer just stopped working mid drying session. They replaced the dryer a few days later. I gave three stars for Ms Cynthia and the maintenance team. Other than them two factors it’s would’ve been zero stars. Update the managers lied!! They never reiterated anything other than it can not be done. To Whoever wrote the bs response to my original rating. Straight bs but it’s okay my husband already renewed the lease. That’ll be it for us. I hope this management company don’t be here to long.

GREAT COMMUNITY! I absolutely love this community, I heard great things about these apartments before I moved in so when I found out they had availability, I wasted no time. This area is quiet and in the best location! The management company takes very good care of the property, so it stays nice and clean throughout the whole community. The apartments are beautiful inside and maintenance is always friendly and on top of their job. I also had great encounters with the leasing staff, my leasing consultant Melody was very helpful and of top of everything and made sure my home was ready for move in. I would recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a new home.
