Management has messed up our bill multiple times now, processing our payments then sending us non-payment notices with late charges. And refusing to drop the late charges even if they're wrong. Plus at a time when people are losing their jobs or their salaries are cut by half or more they're raising all our HOA dues. Even if they passed the raise (without making the home owners aware it would be considered on the meeting agenda), you would think they'd show some compassion for their customers or at least temporarily adjust things since they don't have to pay for the pools to be heated, social events, etc while the world is distancing. In the few years we've lived there the dues have increased 30% and is now more expensive than other many HOAs in Temecula, including those with more amenities such as gyms and clubhouses. The cost of living has only increased 13%.

My complaint has to do with the HOA not enforcing CC&Rs across the board, and the landscape company (Environmental Concepts) we pay for here who do a terrible job and yet were recently given a new contract. Rivers of water running down our sidewalks and streets nightly, as I've mentioned to them in many emails with photos, I am apparently the only person noticing this, according to them. This is one of the biggest costs in this HOA and why I have been so persistent about it, but they refuse to listen. I am a professional landscape designer, so I do know what they could easily do to stop this water wasting. I volunteered for their "Landscape Committee" and although the ONLY professional on there, they didnt like my suggestions so kicked me off it! The homeowners on the board will NOT get off it, refuse to give anybody else a hand in running the HOA. I have to wonder if kick backs are involved here? Very nasty to homeowners. I've given up trying to help, they do not appreciate it, and I dont appreciate being treated so rudely either. The managment company only responds to the board, so homeowners are on their own, unless they decide to send you a violation letter that is! Here's a few shots I took recently at night, gives you an idea of what I'm talking about, money running down the drains here, and nobody on the board will respond. Update: 2020, I'm now ON the board and still unable to change management, the landscape maintenance company, or the lack of accountability and waste! 😩

Love Paloma del Sol. My favorite thing is the common area with lovely landscaping and nice trails for walking. Community also offers 5 swimming pools, basket ball courts, disc golf course, playgrounds, tennis courts - something for just about everyone. Management staff is friendly, very knowledgeable, and proactive in keeping the community nice. The HOA also sponsors activities a couple of times a year for owners to come together and have fun. It is a sought after area for home buying because of the amenities. Also, well located near shopping.

Terrible hoa. Aren't worried about the people in the neighborhood, only their money. Harass the families while they are at the pools, pretty much constantly. They have a third party watching through cameras and yelling at children while you're at the pool. I called about local houses being broken into, they did absolutely nothing about it, even though they have security patrols. Those patrols are only concerned with harassing the home owners. Honestly just have no concern about the home owners whatsoever.

Can I pay my HOA dues at the office on Pauba? Or does it have to be mailed to the corporate office? Thx
