Our stay was enjoyable and it is a nice space. Our bartender was lovely, and the drinks were great. My issue is that we believe we left a travel bag in our room with medication in it. I do understand that is our own fault, though have called 4+ times, left a few voicemails without a call back. I spoke to the front desk staff who assured me it would be looked into and 4 days later, still nothing. Disappointing. Edit: editing to 1 star. “Owner” claimed to look into it. Did not do so (maybe if they were as responsive to their several bad reviews lately as they were their guests actual requests/needs they’d be more successful?) Several calls made. Was assured yesterday I would hear back that day from someone regarding it. No response. At this point I assume the hotel stole my belongings, including medications. Also, please review the other recent reviews before booking this place. It appears this hotel has gone quite downhill. Will not be recommending it in future. Also, side note- rooftop bar was closed when we were there as well (far earlier than when their hours are listed as online).

The hotel is beautiful and in a great location, and the amenities are very nice. However, the rooms weren't up to the standard I would expect for a hotel of this price. We stayed for a couple of days, two rooms, for a staycation. My room was dusty, had the world's cheapest hair dryer, had only very warped and scratched records for the record player (I tried them all), and the floor was very dirty - there was grit on my feet after walking without shoes. The other room was worse. There was no hair dryer at all, a ripped bath towel, a large yellow stain on the comforter, and solidified half and half for the coffee. The record player was broken so badly you could see wires coming out of it. Both rooms had a magnifying mirror but neither had the cord required for them to light up. We reported the problems and most were corrected, except the record player (or the mirrors, as I forgot to mention them). They did give me a $100 credit, but it seems to me that clean rooms with basic amenities should be a given in any decent hotel.

$8547.61 is what I paid to stay for four nights plus the cost of another room for a guest. Here's where Halcyon failed. 1. I was not notified that there would be a marathon during the weekend of my stay that will impact transportation: ride sharing and taxis. 2. They offer a courtesy shuttle, but they denied transportation because it was one mile outside their allowed radius. We missed our appointment at a cost of $320 3. I was initially quoted and charged $150 extra to extend our stay until 6pm, but after was charged $400 after the fact. 4. There is human hair all over inside the suite, can be easily seen especially on the glossy floors and stairs. 5. General Manager, Jason DelCamp & staff did not respond to my request to discuss my concerns. If a hotel can't accommodate a quest staying in their suite an exception to drive them one mile further so they don't miss their appointment, if the general manager can't address a guest's concerns, and a guest is charged a different amount after the fact, it's a shady one-star hotel.

We spent an excellent weekend at the Halcyon hotel in Cherry Creek for a wedding. They had happy hour free wine and AM free coffees. The rooftop pool was gorgeous and winter soaking in the hot tub was fantastic! Activities and a rooftop bar. The attached restaurant had great food and drinks. Also the best location with a lot of choices for food and entertainment near by. Caution they can’t park pick up trucks!! But the valet went out of his way to help us get a spot on the street and set up pay parking on our phone. It worked well and was less expensive than the parking garage at the end of the street.
