One of the best places in LA to find awesome and rare beers from many different breweries, plus these guys really know their stuff! Highly recommend for a fun hang!

Anthrax Syntax

Turn your A/C on. It's summer time. This place gave us a headache, a hard time breathing in there because it was stuffy and we were all sweating. People go out to relax. We all got up and went over to Player One's. At least the had A/C. Won't be going to your spot again.

Kay Jay (케이제이)

Okay place for drinks with a group. No food service past a certain time and they close early which wasn't great.

I love this place for grabbing a beer with a friend. You can essentially build your own flight by ordering multiple 4 oz pours of any of the many beers they have on tap. Staff is very friendly, and I never have had an issue with finding a place to sit. When the weather is nice, they open the huge door/windows and you get the covered patio feel and some fresh (LA smog-filled, but still what we think is fresh lol) air. They have good bar grub, a few good vegan options, though you know I always want more, at slightly high prices, but I go for the drinks, not the food. And they are dog friendly so sometimes you get to look at a cute pup while you hang out :)
