My mom was pulled over coming home from her night job. The lady officer informed her that her license was suspended due to not having insurance. My mom informed her that she in fact does (and provided a copy of it to her) and they STILL gave her a citation, took her license, and her tag. I called the FLHSMV and her license is IN FACT valid and she is legal to drive (their words not mine). Now she has to find time between working to go and retrieve her license and tag back when it was never suspended in the first place. Mind you she did not receive any notices from the DMV(which last time I checked they are sent out) AND she called her insurance company to double check (which they verified that she was insured at the time of this ridiculous incident).

I met officer J. Crowley yesterday, who was very polite, professional, and helpful. Thank you, officer Crowley for your help! The members of the entire Boca Raton, FL police department are absolutely top-notch law enforcement officials. Faced with a difficult task of keeping everyone safe from crime, they live up to the task with style, and with professionalism that is rare to find these days. Thank you to the men and women of the Boca Raton Police Services Department. What you do is greatly appreciated!

Had a rude female officer show up to my door over a noise complaint. I informed her that it was my maintenance guy unclogging my toilet early in the morning. She threatened me by saying I don’t want to have to come back. This police department treats honest everyday citizens like they’re criminals. They have poor communication skills and escalate situations so it can lead to an arrest. They’re pathetic halfwits and are the precise reason why people hate the police. I actually want to be a cop but would feel working for this bought out corporate interest of a department would hinder my honest purpose to do good in the community.

I’ve dealt with amazing officers and really crappy officers from Boca but you can’t expect them all to be amazing, I do believe they try with the community like coffee with a cop but I still feel adversely affected by one of their officers who handled my sisters car accident poorly. P.S. Officer Reesie is one of the best I’ve dealt with from the Boca PD.

No.
Several private companies contract with property owners to provide towing services. Signs typically are posted in no parking/tow away zones listing the name and phone number of the contractor for that property, i.e. Bonnie's Towing, 561-xxx-xxxx. For vehicle accidents, BRPD contracts with numerous towing companies summoned on a rotational basis.
What is the zip code are you moving in?
Contact your local domestic abuse shelter. There is one in Boca and Delray called Aid to Victims-Domestic Abuse. There is another one called SafeSpace. They are located in Stuart,FL and are amazing. Good luck <3
Probably a transformer (An FPL electrical transformer, not Optimus Prime).

A response like you are describing could be either an exceptionally bad traffic accident or a pursuit of a fleeing vehicle. When you see multiple police cars behind a pulled over vehicle, it typically means the detainee's info has come back with an active warrant. Backup officers and often the shift supervisor are called so an arrest can be safely made. At that particular intersection, there are many bad wrecks.
