Drinks and cocktails were good, Pizza and Pastas were good but the Parmesan Chicken was a real miss. The vibe and atmosphere here is a very cool old time Hollywood feel and it’s a great date night spot. Gets pretty packed raucous on weekend nights. Across the street is also the Formosa which is another great restaurant to visit.

The food and atmosphere were great. I'm leaving two stars because of the service. We didn't have a reservation and we're pretty much discouraged to put our name down by the hostess, but we still decided to stay and wait. We were able to get a table quick because we were sat at a tiny table for two -- my husband's legs barely fit. But, we did appreciate being sat quickly. From there, our experience went downhill. Our server Katie B. was quite short and stern from the start. At first I didn't mind because it was a busy night and assumed she was just stressed, so of course I didn't want to add anymore to her plate. But as the night progressed, she continued to breeze right passed our table multiple times and would check on two other tables she was serving. We received half of our order, but were still waiting on my pasta. After 40 minutes, we finally flagged her down and when we asked about the pasta, she abruptly said " it's still on it's way" and walked off. We had to flag her down again for a refill and when I brought up that we felt ignored, she said "I'm not ignoring you, you have everything you need so why would I need to check on you guys." She then walked up to other servers and started talking to them while staring at us. I felt bad for getting mad and bringing up being ignored so when the pasta came out, I tried to apologize but she said "I don't know why your apologizing because I did nothing wrong from the start" and then just deflected the entire situation and wouldn't acknowledge her lack of attention to our table. Though her other tables were bigger and it was just my husband and I, I couldn't help but notice every other table was a white family and we are a younger gay, Mexican couple. In the end, she dropped off our check without saying anything and rolled her eyes when I said thank you. She was rude and didn't show any accountability for her unfair actions. Luckily the manager was kind when we called to let them know about the situation and they comped my pasta that came out late. But this put a pretty bad taste in our mouth, enough to probably never go back.

Love this place! First time back in like 20 years! Lol. The hubby and I had a fabulous time. The spicy sausage pizza was delish. We requested to make it half garlic. Oh and the beef short ribs... staaaahp! I can't even find the words to describe how good it is. Just order it next time you go because I'm going to!

Great neighborhood spot, foods pretty good but a lil pricey, fortunately Sunday-Thursday they have a late night happy hour. Usually pretty lively bar and friendly service. The decor reminds me of an old school Italian gangster restaurant with an LA vibe. All in all very cool place and definitely recommend checking out, especially for happy hour 😉

Aren't we all at least a little bit Italian at heart?
