It's local. Products are local for the most part. Staff is great. Store is clean, safe, and well maintained. Best part is the small town, one traffic-light atmosphere. This ain't portland.

Excellent fruit and veggies selection at reasonable prices. Nice variety of ice cream. We left with all the making for awesome banana splits without breaking the bank.

Shopped at the Damascus Safeway store this afternoon. Needed to buy two red onions but ended up buying only one. The quality of selection was terrible. The only place where these onions belong is in a compost pile. The produce manager must have known how bad they were. The produce buyer for Safeway is not doing his/her job by allowing this inferior product in the store.

Typical Safeway Quality of Groceries, Staff, Neatness & Cleanliness we've all come to value and Expect!!!!!?! Not many "'Walking'/'Meth'heads around here and it was almost Relaxing in the Landscaping of the store, parking lot & surrounding area....... Haircuts, Restaurants and other lil shops/stores around here too.......
