Riverside has developed over the past few decades, but food choices are still limited...🤔 The light at the end of the tunnel is Uncle Chuang's Bakery! Sweet & savory baked goods, sandwiches, cakes, desserts & bao. Yes! May I have an extra helping of more carbs to go with that🤤

cute small Chinese bakery that has things like pineapple buns, Japanese style sponge cake, egg tarts, etc. reasonable prices and they have a stamp card for every $100 you get a discount. i've ordered the chocolate strawberry (black forest?) cake and a cheesecake and they were both pretty good.

I had the worst experience with this bakery. I ordered a cake in advance and paid in advance. The cake was to say my name then this bakery told me they would give a happy birthday sign. They did not write my name upon pick up and would not give a happy birthday sign. Jenifer who was working told me they don’t do that. This place was a damper on an important day. Do not use for special occasions because they do not honor what you order, take your money in advance, and will not give a refund. If they could not write my name they should not have sold the cake to me or called me telling me that so I could have went somewhere else.

Yes they do and absolutely incredible. You must try them! They are in the frozen section and I put a wet paper towel on them and microwave. So incredible. Just like the ones grew up eating from Eastern Bakery in Chinatown in San Francisco!

They only allow a few (4, I believe) customers in at a time. Pastries are packaged in seperate baggies so there's no risk of contamination. The cashiers wear gloves and masks. Customers are also required to wear masks.

Their Cheesecake is like CAKE... not the creamy style. Very very good stuff
I haven't ever seen anything that sounds like what you're looking for. They do have cheesecakes but that tends to be the most gelatinous item on the shelves.
