Do you like sharing your apartment with thousand of roaches at a time? paying 15 dollars a month for a package system that doesn't work and still having your packages stolen? Then Aliro "Luxury" Apartments is for you. We moved here earlier this year and its honestly the worst building we have ever lived in . The apartments are shoddily constructed. There are spaces between the walls and the floors which allow all types of critters to come in and join you. Between the ants, roaches and termites , at Aliro apartments, you will never be alone. And yes, they offer complementary pest control. But when the whole building is infested, what is pest control going to do? Then there is amenities. Our AC unit has been leaking for the better part of the year. Who doesn't love the relaxing sound of water leaking down their closet in the middle of the night.? Who doesn't love to empty a bucket of AC water on a daily basis? The building has sent repair men who has informed us that short of removing the whole unit and going three months without AC, there is nothing they can do. Then there is locker fee. The locker has been down since we moved in here, and yet every month, Aliro loves to take that 15 dollar fee out of our pockets. Knowing that the packages have been placed in the locker room always gives a rush of adrenaline, as you have to run to the locker room to collect your packages before they disappear. Honestly I don't blame the thieves. If you lived at Aliro, you would want to take things too. If there is one thing that Aliro Apartments does right, is bringing a community together. One of our elevators was down for 5 months. 5 whole months of people pleading with management to address the situation. Only after the tenants organized and contacted the city, was the problem finally addressed. Good luck reaching management. They love your money, they love to sign you up and show you around, but as soon as you sign that contract they just fade from the face of the earth. This place calls itself luxury apartments, but if this is luxury, then honestly I want to be poor. Please don't move here. For the amount of money you are paying you can find some place without thousand of little yes staring at you.

Horrible customer service, so much so that I’m in the process of disputing the $155 application fee with AMEX. Disastrous. I have tried calling “the leasing office” about 15 times and there is literally no answer. No one is answering. Is this even still an operating business? I haven’t even moved in and feel like this is already a nightmare. Can only IMAGINE what it’s like to be a tenant of this apartment building complex. Spoke to someone named Jacob one afternoon, received a generic follow up email, and then never heard again via phone or email. Again, this is the process of applying - imagine what it is like as a tenant. Astronomically high “application fees” for a leasing office that seems to be closed or worse, out of business. If you’ve already been tricked out of $155, just dispute the charge with your bank as a fraudulent one because this is what they are anyway - a fraud / scam. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS. Happy I did the research before proceeding any further with this mess of a “management company.”

Maintenance does a poor job fixing the plumbing in my unit. My sink is perpetually clogged despite them having "fixed it" no less than three times, with shoddy work to the toilet. My shower faucets also do not shut completely off, resulting in a forever leaking shower, and the humidity is slowly destroying my apartment, and causing the plaster on the ceiling to fall off. Nobody in customer service seems dedicated to solving these issues, so I've changed my rating to reflect my poor, miserable living experience. I wouldn't recommend living here unless you enjoy never being able to brush your teeth in your sink, dealing with a toilet not properly attached to the wall, plaster falling from the ceiling, living room windows that don't open or shut completely or a shower that can never turn off properly. Hardly the luxury living experience promised on their website. Since moving here my unit has only continued to fall apart more, and when I communicated this with the office, nobody takes my concerns seriously.

I moved in a month ago after almost giving up on finding a safe, affordable, convenient, easy to get to and leave place in Miami. Two weeks after an into all call that led me nowhere, I received a call back from Jacob, letting me know a studio came along the lines of what I was looking for. Same day showing, same day signing up. Two weeks later settled in. A month later enjoying all of it, even as they continue renovating the apartments and property. Great pools, awesome gym, amazing availability of parking. And so many shops and restaurants in every direction. Shout out, too, to Clarissa in Maintenance, who has always responded kindly and diligently to any concern. Wish I had known of Aliro earlier!
