Kabuki Japanese Restaurant is one of our favorite places from the Happy hour times to the regular times. The staff is polite and efficient. The food comes hot, delicious, and prsented so nicely--a visual and tasty treat. The assortment of Japanese beer and rolls show a variety to choose from. Tempura is cooked just right. I highly recommend this place with lots of parking.

I (someone allergic to seafood) finally found a good Japanese place that has options for me near my work. The food was fresh, the soup was hot, and everything tasted great. I'll definitely be ordering from here again.

I have gone to 3 different Kabuki locations and this one on Colorado in Pasadena is by far the worse. I was very embarrassed that I was boasting about the food at Kabuki’s because the other locations were great. This one had terrible service. I have gone here about 3X over the past 10 years (mostly convenience) and each time was a bad experience. I will most definitely never come back and o do not recommend it to anyone. I figured over time it will have been better, nope. It was worse. The last experience was negative due to the waitress in a rush to clock out and receive her tip and payment. Our order barely came in and she was leaving and insisted on us checking out. So, we were not able to get any service after that. We couldn’t get refills on drink. What’s worse is that the place was empty. There was a couple out on the patio and a small family that came in as we finished our dinner.
