A gentleman that my husband and I have gaurdianship of was hospitalized here. While I felt the care he got was excellent, I was very frstrated and disappointed in the lack of care or understanding given by the team there with finding appropriate care for him following his discharge. I felt they just wanted to get rid of him, regardless if it was safe or not.

I came here a few months ago for pain. I had to be wheel-chaired in to the ER. waited almost 2 hours to be told "here's a shot of ibuprofen. Talk to your pain Dr." That appointment was a week away. Guess I'll just be completely disabled by my pain until that time. No help. Unhelpful. Terrible. Waste of time.

Great hospital. The doctors and nurses were friendly and efficient. I went in to the er ti have a toothpick pulled out of my toe. They were very attentive and got it out quickly.

Can't believe the ER doctors and the Hospitalist on that particular day still want to prescribe the death cocktail for those being admitted with covid. We're not all stupid and have done our research. She seemed irritated that I did my research. Floor nurses were great, ER Nurses and Doctors, not so much.

Yes, Sonesta is very generous!
I'm not sure I understand the question. This is a hospital so people can be admitted and stay overnight. My wife has been there for nearly a week.
First, the distance from the north tower to the south tower isn't much so if you end up on the wrong side, it's not too far of a walk and it is all indoors. I have bad knees so I try to reduce my walking distance but it's not that big of a deal. There are two driveways. The up hill driveway is for drop off at either tower front door and valet parking is available from about 6am thru ??pm. There is a sign for which door has the valet parking. Normally it's at the north door but right now (Jan 2020) it's at the south door because of construction. The distance between the two doors is only about 50 yards. Valet parking is nice and the place isn't that big so you wait only 5 minutes or so when you are ready to pick up your car. To get to a front door from the parking garage, you'll want to go to the level 2 door.
Must leave or sometime they let you wait in the room. Or you can leave and the doctor will call you when it's over. Only one visitor at a time.
I remember them ending at 8:30, but I don't know what time they start.
It is located on the west side of the hospital next to the cancer center
Currently yes, one can.
Yes, I would recommend to look into it beforehand. I do not know if it is courtesy or pay service.
No. Only Bergan hospital and women's hospital off 192 and dodge
If you call 354-4000 the operator can connect you
I just had to look this up. Call 402-354-3xxx, where xxx is the room number
I'm not a doctor but my thought was that cellulitis is normally not contagious. A google search confirmed this. But it did say that a person is at risk to develop cellulitis if they have a cut, burn, scrape etc or a weakened immune system. It might be worth asking your doctor or the nurses before you enter a room.
It is a teaching facility connected to Nebraska Methodist College. We teach student RNs, RTs, and a few other positions. We do not have student MDs or APRNs unless the MD, themselves, has a student from Creighton or another school learning their specialty.
