Papio Bay is amazing! With water slides, and, diving boards, and a huge pool to swim in, the Bay is the place to be to cool off. Prices to get in are cheap, which is wonderful for a mother on a budget. All in all, 5 stars!

Clean, well maintained pool and recreation area! Well staffed with life guards, and has an accessible first aid tent. There is one extra-large zero entry pool with two medium slides and two diving boards for older kids. There is plenty of lounge chairs and gray area. There is a nice, separate play area for young children, splash pad, slide in shallow water, and sand play area. There are lockers that require a quarter to use in the locker rooms. This appears to be nicely managed! The only reason I give it four stars is that the facilities are older, and have limited extra features for older kids/ adults. The snack bar has a limited selection, but prices are reasonable. The evening swim times are a nice option for a dollar off every and less busy!

The lifeguards are whistle happy to the point that they whistle so much that no one evens looks up anymore. It's ridiculous how much they whistle at families. It takes away from what the place has to over and the fun.

I am highly impressed with the staff and guards at Papio Bay!! Excellent service and response!! I was at Papio Bay yesterday with my family, we have attended here since I was 3. I was witness to 5 incident reports while waiting in lines or in the pool; from potential drownings(3), to slip-trip-falls and injury(2). The survey of the scene to response time was immaculate, when a guard needed to enter the water another guard was at the station in seconds for assistance and replacement! Not one but 3-5 guards were in response to whatever the incident each time. It is a selfless and difficult job to be a lifeguard. Bravo to all the guards that work here. We will definitely be going back feeling safe to attend with our families own little ones. And for the love of God, NO RUNNING ON THE POOL DECKS! Thank you Papio Bay!!

They do have deck chairs to use, but not enough for everyone. The website rules do not list chairs as a prohibited item. There is lots of green space to put your own chair.
No, we do not allow any floatation devices other then a pool noodle or a US Coast Guard approved life jacket. We also do not allow any lawn chairs.
Yes, a wonderful separate kids area. But even the adult pool is a zero grade entry on the shallow side
I'm not 100% sure but I'm pretty confident it's only special dog day. Dogs are not present any other time
