Nice place however all along the beautiful boardwalk are homeless people sleeping on the deck they're shopping carts they're tents there clothes all over their area? I hate to say it but it ruined the whole ambience. 😥

Downtown Wilmington, NC. is a great place to bring the family, a date or just adventure by yourself. Historic places to tour, museums, great dining and brick streets. Wonderful!

Awesome sunsets on the board walk. Nice are and great little spots to eat and drink. Parking is a problem and you have to pay every two hours. If you have problems walking be ready for some hills.

This part of Wilmington is beautiful and is wonderful for walking and people-watching. There are many places to eat and to procure alcoholic beverages. The Riverwalk is worth seeing and if you can find a place to eat on the river, you can see the ships and boats as they slide by. Many people we saw were walking their dogs and one of the restaurants we ate at had a bowl set out for them.
