Overpriced by at least 30% of the equivalent services, the equipment is very outdated, the stuff is not knowledgeable. The front dest is arrogant and unprofessional.

Beauty Redefined lost a good client because of their own ineptitude and dishonest and disrespectful behavior. I paid for a series of laser treatment, and for the second treatment, I wanted to add an "area." I was told an extra 1/2 hour would be needed when I scheduled the second treatment (at the end of the first treatment, and in person at the desk), I was scheduled for the full 1.5 hours needed for the original area, plus one extra area. When they called to confirm the appointment, they "knew nothing of the extra area" and "had to move my appointment because another client had just scheduled for that extra 1/2 hour." I informed them of their error, and they said they would call me back to find out if I actually needed the extra 1/2 hour or not. They didn't call me back and then the proceeded to charge me a fee for a "no-show" even though I told them I wasn't coming in unless they could either honor the original 1.5 hour booked or reschedule. I then called when I received the charge, and they said "oh, you didn't need the extra 1/2 hour in the first place - who told you that?" Well.. the answer was "you did.. at the desk, when I scheduled." Very unprofessional and money gauging. I very much liked my technician who performed the laser appointment, but the business manager is very unprofessional and made me feel as if they are desperate for money - so much that they are willing to force a collection fee by charging my credit card unauthorized instead of keeping a client. It's outright fraudulent behavior. Don't trust this place, as they don't know what they are talking about, their scheduling in inaccurate and they lie to collect $50.

STAY AWAY! Wow. Poorly trained staff, poor customer service. There are hundreds of Med Spas in South Bay. Stay away from this one. I had a laser hair removal treatment (taking advantage of their 50% off promo offer), and after 4 days, the hair returned. It was an hour appointment, but the actual procedure only lasted 20 minutes. The technician turned their new 'blue" laser as high as it would go at the start, which burned my shoulders. I complained, and she later turned it down. But not after causing significant pain. No long-term burns though. They seemed rushed that day. I realize multiple treatments are needed for PERMANENT hair reduction, but the treatment is supposed to remove most of the existing hair. IT DIDN'T. I called and told them, and the front desk person said they would "make it right, but to wait two weeks." Four phone calls later, and a follow up visit. Their position changed, and they refused to remove the hair they missed with the laser saying it wasn't their problem. The co-owner, Joan even YELLED at me on the phone saying "You got what I paid for" and to go ahead and post my bad experience to Yelp and Google because, "it does nothing." So here you go Joan, here you go Beauty Redefined. I'll be taking my business and referrals elsewhere. I hope those that read this review do too.

I hate to post bad reviews but when I cannot get anything resolved by calling on the phone I feel like there is no other option. I feel extremely disrespected, I booked an appointment and forgot all about it, I was immediately billed $50.00 on a credit card that I did not authorize. I was not asked for a credit card at the time I booked the appointment nor was I told I would be charged a fee. The fact that they are picking a credit card out of a hat and charging without any authorization is discomforting. I always felt like I had a good relationship with the staff at beauty redefined but after this I will take my business somewhere else. I do not recommend anyone give out their credit card information as they will apparently use it whenever they like and with no authorization.
