Well that was interesting. I've seen this place and love an old school diner type of restaurant. I was craving a breakfast sandwich so thought I'd call and order one to go on a bagel, side of hash browns. They said 10 minutes. Got there 15 minutes later, waited another 10, was asked twice and I replied I ordered a breakfast sandwich to go. Maybe they just had a rush, most the tables needed to be bussed, counter / cashier area had bottled beverage on display that had been there so long the labels and contents had changed color. I finally got my order and was told "thank you". I replied "I need to pay". Got home and discovered a lifeless sandwich on a soggy croissant, no hash browns. Gave it to the dog. He was happy.

The good: Prices are pretty reasonable for Berkeley in 2022. And you can always get a table because there's never a wait, even for a sunny weekend brunch rush. Bathrooms are pretty clean. The bad: The service is terrible, like, really, really terrible. The food isn't very good either.

I was a little nervous because of the location, but we gave it a try.. food was so good and filling and the best part was, affordable! Being in San Fran and paying $20 plus for some eggs and potatoes- this was a breath of fresh air
