Positive: The best thing about this hotel was leaving it. The other best thing was that we could keep the AC fan on all the time to mask the old cigarette smoke smell. Negative: We had to go to the front desk to request 2 washcloths. The curtains were off the hooks so we had to use our own hair clips to keep them closed. The television wasn't even a high definition grade but the old fuzzy kind. Unusual stains on the carpet.

The guy at the desk kept bothering us about what we were doing in our room and hassling my guest, the room was dirty the bathroom had bloodstains and so did a few towels. There was also a dirt ring in the tub Definitely a cheap place wouldn't recommend not even to my worst enemy. We didn't even complete our stay. Wish I took photos to show you.
Rain Drops
I booked my room online. I wanted to take my son to swim the pool was closed. It didn't state that online. I went ahead and decided to stay. The chair that went to the desk was broken and I asked for a replacement. I had work zoom calls I need to attend. He didn't ever come with a chair. I had to get it myself. I was unable to bathe myself. I turn the tub faucet on and some gunk came out. I took pictures of the faucet and broken bathroom door handled. I took pictures and I went to the front desk to show it and explain. Because there wasn't a phone in the room. The manager did offer to switch rooms. I had already put my toddler to sleep. He offered to take 20% off. I said ok. In the morning I check my account and noticed I was charged $68.00. This isn't much. But. 23 cents here and there adds up. So not I am extremely on defense after everything. I go to check out and the manager isn't there. He didn't leave a note about taking 20% off. He hadn't made the adjustment and the employee was telling me that the manager will give me the 20% off. I said this isn't professional and there is no way I'm leaving out of here hoping he will fix it. It may be small he already unethically took 23¢from me. I am on my menses and was unable to bathe. I call the manager. The employee said he can't get a hold of him and he won't be in til noon. I said well you can refund me cash right now. Cause he has already charge the room. So the employee did give me the cash refund difference. I honestly feel I should be fully refunded. This isn't how you do business. There should be a manager on duty at all times or assist manager. To make adjustments. You should be able to bathe without gunk coming out of the faucet and gunk being on the faucets. This was a horrible experience. I haven't ever been to any place that handles business like this. This is why franchises can be horrible. Owners who run them poorly.

I had a late night check in. $75 I missed the deal on Hotwire for $48 :( The room was fine. I got 2 bath towels, 1 wash cloth, and a bath mat. They must have had a problem with people taking towels because there is a $30 charge if they are not there. Also there is a $250 charge for unregistered guests and you are immediately made to leave, no refunds. So they must be trying to clean the place up, no riff raff. The heater in my room didn't seem to work very good. I talked to the front desk and he was happy to move rooms for me but I declined. As it warmed up after a while. Breakfast used to be hot but it is a bag with 2 Graham crackers a Jello cup and and fruit snacks and a small carton of milk. They were remodeling the breakfast area. They was a sign up that said you'd be charged if you took your breakfast to your room. (This was for the hot breakfast as it was waffles with muffins or cereal) However they do NOT ask for a cash deposit. Which is nice. The pool looked nice. I didn't use it but it was available. Over all nice place, clean, front desk was accommodating. 3 stars.
