Hidden gem!!! I love this place. You walk in and instantly turn back into a 10 year old. The owners/staff are super nice and they have so much stuff. I brought my young son with me and he loved it too.

Unbelievable!!! You guys must have brain damage, short of "Deep" pockets, remember, owner is a businessman, just like everyone else, out to make money, that's all, along with "boosting" prices toward busy season. I wouldn't go there if my life depended on it!! Joke!!!Thanks for your comments. We take all comments seriously. While I do not follow the “deep pocket” logic, I’d like to share with all our customers the unprecedented times we have gone thru and continue to go thru. Current conditions with supply chain disruptions are continuing to hurt small businesses like Joes Train Station. Here are the facts: Price increases happen in our industry in early Spring (February thru March). Joe’s Train Station chose to hold our pricing in 2021 and not change our prices in our POS system. In the summer many manufactures increased prices due to component shortages and increased shipping costs. Ie. A shipping container that used to cost $3,500 is now costing $29,000. Manufactures and distributors raised prices to cover that cost. Lionel chose not to raise prices, but rather place a 10% surcharge on newly ordered items. Joes Train Station has not passed on the surcharge as we have a great relation with our distributors and have purchased early in the summer. We will have to pass the surcharge along to customers IF the customer places a special order that we can not fill from our stock. In this case, we would have to place an order from our distributor who would charge Joes Train Station the Lionel surcharge. Recent meetings with Bachmann, MRC, and others expressed their frustration with economic conditions and stated that things will not be getting any better until some time in 2022. I hope this adds some details about your negative comments about our pricing. We are grateful for our loyal customer base and continue to give back to our local community. I thoroughly enjoyed this store. They have a nice selection of new and used trains in all scales and accessories at really decent prices. You could spend hours looking through the boxes of rolling stock alone, i know cause i did in the HO …Thanks for taking time to leave a nice review. Doug
