Busy, but great splash pad and playground. Good mix of sun and shade. Lots of picnic tables. The rocks are amazing for climbing and playing in the water. The playground structures are modern and very creative.

Only thing that should be added there.... Charcoal grills..but I understand why there are none.

Wonderful park for all ages. We enjoy the splash pad in the late afternoon as the shade covers the area. It has a large dog park, creek, paved path for strollers, giant playground for big kids and little kids, public bathrooms, covered picnic tables, and lots of trees.

Walk is very long from the parking lot. If you have a lot to unload near the splash park I suggest parking on the side with hazards on. I did not and walked what felt like 2 miles with two loads of things that were not light!
Not open yet, not sure if they will open, check the DCR web site
The parking in front is very limited but around the corner and behind it, at 531 Waverly Oaks Rd., is a parking lot.
It is still under construction. They are supposed to open by summer
