I owe so much to GRC. i came in so hopeless , lost , broken and out of control. I didn’t think there was any way i could get better or out of what i had my life into. i didn’t think anyone or anything could help me and at first i was not willing to get help just thought i would do this to pacify people around me. Learning what I have here has been one of the most beneficial aspects of my life. The staff here truly go above and beyond to help us truly live a better life and learn the things we need to. This is a WE program and they truly are beside you and treat you as if you are family . i’ve learned to have motivation, gratitude and hope. I’ve learned to allow myself to have a community around me to help me walk when i feel like i can’t stand . i’ve learned i can’t do this alone and learned to be teachable. Was able to finally put action into myself for a better beautiful life … i see that beautiful life now and my right now and my future is bright and the past isn’t worth a glance. i would never have been able to learn these things if it wasn’t for GRC the staff and the clients . this is my family and a life changing program . forever grateful ! ❤️

At first, I was unsure about a new place and new people. The fact that I gave the program a chance I found myself fond of the place, the program, and the staff. I found it difficult, but anything worth doing won't be easy. Upon accepting the program, things started to go smoothly. I'm happy I gave it a chance and excited to use the skills I've learned here. It's a bitter sweet knowing that after making friends here, but moving on to bigger and better things is worth it. I will truthfully miss this place. I better understand my recovery and where I stand in all of this and hungry for a better life as a result.

I was nervous when I first got to New Freedom Academy at Granite recovery centers. There was a lot of people. But the staff and clients helped me feel welcome. They help me learn about self and my addiction. I’ve got to see people change in a good way and complete the program which helped give me hope. I learned that this disease doesn’t discriminate. When I graduated the program I realized that I became part of a family something that I haven’t felt in a long time. I would recommend this program to anyone looking to better their life and become a part of the recovery community and family. Thank you New Freedom and GRC.

yes, unless you plan to detox off of methadone without being monitored by a medical team, which is dangerous. They will tell you it doesn't, but then not allow you to take your methadone once you arrive.
No
Hi, I'm not an employee of Granite. Only a thankful out of state parent.
