I would give him no stars at all. I had these beautiful $54 sandals that I had just bought. My puppy got a hold of one of the straps it was a tiny little cut so I thought if I got it fixed I wouldn’t have to worry about it tearing later. It was tiny itty bitty little cut. He said he could make some stitches to fix it. I gave him the other shoe telling him I wanted them to look the same. He ruined my shoes. He charged me $20 to fix it but if you can see what he did to my sandals was a very very poor poor workmanship I am shocked at what he did. I can’t believe someone who owns a business could do this to someone’s property. Please think twice before taking your items to him. He is terrible. I would not take anything else to him. This is so wrong in so many ways.

I took two pairs of men's dress shoes and one pair of ladies' dress boots to be polished and have a heel repaired on 1/31. I was told 2/14 was the pickup date and paid that day to have the work done. On 2/14, I returned to the shop and was asked by one of their employees if I saw the finished shoes on the shelf. I did not and asked why they were not present. I was told that some of the shoes were at the other shop being finished and that they would drop them off after the shop closed. I was pleasantly surprised and headed to work. At 10:15 p.m. that evening, a box with a finished pair of black men's shoes and the repaired pair of ladies' boots were placed on our front doorstep. The person dropping the shoes off left before I could ask about the remaining pair, not in the box. The next day I called to find out where the remaining pair of brown Florsheim shoes were. I was told that this happens all the time, and someone likely came to pick up their shoes and mistakenly took mine off the shelf. It was confirmed on another call by the same employee that somebody did come in to pick up shoes similar looking to mine and likely took mine. The other party’s brown shoes were still in the shop. I asked multiple employees to please let the owner know the situation and have her please give me a call to figure it out. Fortunately, the shop did see after the week delay that this was a problem with their shoe tagging and made it a point to make it right. I appreciate that they were able to handle the recovery with empathy and will consider working with them in the future. I hope that their organizational issues are figured out quickly because their shoe work seems to be solid.

The cobbler who does most of the repair work is really sharp. Knows his stuff, knows how to get all manner of things fixed and in working condition. I've had several bags repaired and have no complaints on that front. The rest of the staff are nice but inconsistent. The hours posted frequently don't reflect when the place will actually be open. I don't hold this against anyone, running a business is difficult. I'd choose to do things differently but I'm not in this repair business so that's moot. If you're patient, this place is great.

I dropped off boots for a zipper reattach and polish 3 weeks ago. The very nice gentleman told me they'd be ready in a week. Called in a week, they weren't done. Was told to wait another week. I called again, still not done. The third time I called they could not locate my boots and promised to call me back but did not. After many calls, promises to call back after they looked for my (apparently missing) boots, after 3 weeks had not contacted me, responded etc. and often not even open during Google-published hours / days (several). No voicemail to leave a message on, no response on the 'contact us' messages either. Finally, I stopped by when I saw the open sign was back, and they had them, and the gentleman said they had been there, finished, for a few weeks. I can absolutely understand staffing shortages and delays, if they were to be communicated- that's reality right now. But the lack of communication and follow through is pretty tough to swallow. The service itself was good- I'd give that 4 stars (the polish was not all that I'd hoped for but a major improvement, and the zipper repair was also pretty nice).

We can repair leather furniture as far as restoring the leather. We patch or stitch tears, dye faded leather, and more. Come in or call with questions. A picture will help us get the process started. We then send our service person to your house to do the repair. Unless it is a small item, you are welcome to bring it in.
