I am updating my not so happy review from yesterday. (Sorry) I was upset at the lack of direction on what to do with a stray we found. The review recieved a response from the shelter saying they wanted to help and to call for further information. We just dropped off the stray kitten and she is going to get the attention and love she deserves. Thank you for working with us to give this love bug a chance at a wonderful life. Thank you for all you do for these fur babies!

The below reviewer is ignorant and heartless. You have no idea how many people it takes to keep this shelter going , yet they always scrape by with many fewer. The people who come here in all kinds of weather, every day of the week, work very hard in an older imperfect building putting their own bodies at risk for the cats. When any cat passes away, it hurts like they’re family. Every effort is made to ensure the comfort and safety of the cats and find them the best permanent home. It’s not possible for all the cat’s to be out all the time. There’s many reasons for this. Nor is it possible to avoid the stink in a poorly-ventilated building full of litter boxes. Let alone with older abandoned cats that weren’t neutered. If you think you can do better, let’s see it. They’re always welcoming to hardworking volunteers who stick around to put in the sweat instead of taking the time to complain online.

Just adopted 2 kittens from them. When we initially came to see them, the volunteers found them & made efforts to gather them for us. They were very patient with our 3 year old asking 7000 questions & trying to get in the cages lol. Will definitely stop in for visits/to make donations. Thanks so much for our new babies!

they have so many friendly and playful cats though! Don't write them off just because they're full grown, there's so much love and fun there from all of the kitties!

hi Sarah, I thought I had sent this response days ago, (and did this 2x) Check with the Friends of Central Falls Animals, they have kittens right now.
We currently have several cats waiting to go to the vet, please check back with us next week
We are a no kill shelter, our cats stay with us their entire life if not adopted
We do accept cat food donations, but prefer ones with no fish, the brand we use most is Friskies. Thank you !!!
We do not "sell" any animal, their initial medical fees are included in the cost of adoption, however at this time we have no kittens available.

There is a form you need to complete. I would recommend you go to the facility to see what cats they have. Sometimes you need to go a few times to find the perfect pet. But it is worth it
