Norfolk Knife Sharpening/John -- does fantastic work. A number of things make this very easy for the customer. John has contactless drop off - so you can do it at your convenience; he is extremely prompt in responding to text messages; provides a timeline for completion (Knives are ready within a day or two) ; pickup is the same as drop off - and makes it super easy. A number of ways to pay for the service -- and best part of all you get your knives sharpened! We hadn't sharpened our knives in years -- what a huge difference it made - and less expensive than buying new knives (especially if you have favorites that you always use!) Highly recommend Norfolk Knife Sharpening -- you won't be disappointed.

We have been needing to get our knives sharpened for a long time but had just put it off. We had gotten an expensive knife and was sold a home sharpener but that seemed to just dull the knife. Finally we decided to contact Norfolk Sharpening after seeing posts about the service. We couldn’t be happier that we did! We dropped off a total of 3 knives to be sharpened. The drop off process was super easy using the lock boxes at his home (he also picks up on our town but we did the drop off since we were out)! I was given a text update with the costs and timeframe that evening and picked up my knives about 36 hours later. They are crazy sharp now and using them is a pleasure! Recommend 100%!!

It's super easy and the perfect social distancing delivery and pick up device. Simply leave your knives in an empty box and lock it. Contact me with the box #. I'll sharpen your knives and put them in a box for pickup and contact you. Leave cash payment inside the box or use some other form of payment.
It depends on how many knives you drop off and the condition they are in. Usually I can get the knives back to you next day. Let me know if you need them the same day and I can try to expedite.
Absolutely. Get a blade cleaning and mirror polished edge for $12. Add $5 to recover broken tips and chip repair.

Yes. Household and fabric scissors. I do not sharpen hair shears.
$1.00 per inch of blade with a minimum of $5.00. So an 8" chefs knife is $8.00, a 3" paring knife is $5.00.

Yes we offer mobile sharpening. If you are in the local area (30 minute radius), we will come to you and sharpen kitchen knives in your driveway. A fee of $25 plus kitchen knife rates apply for one family. If there is more than one family, we waive the fee.
Yes! With a little bit of planning, I can reprofile the tip of the blade and make it so you would never know there was damage. $5 in addition to regular kitchen knife rates.
Yes. I'll clean the blade, sharpen and balance it for $10.
