Had to go out of town during the pandemic to get help with buying groceries. This particular store refused to accommodate the local people during the worst pandemic in history. That's great! No problem! Haven't stepped fit in that store since 2020. Thank you, Hayden Mercantile for your continued commitment to your customers.

Staff and prices are amazing. My problem is the food quality on produce and meat. Products on the shelves that shouldn’t be there due to increase of food borne illness. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve found packages of lettuce stocked all the way back that are several days expired soggy and disgusting. Meat thats seal has expanded is a huge problem. Not sure how many people are aware but it generally expands due to gases building up that make the meat unsafe to eat. I started buying meat from the local meat market and EVERY time we try to grab any meat from here we get food poisoning. If the store could get a handle on quality control this store would be remarkable. It’s definitely better than Walmarts food quality. But there’s room for improvement. I’d rather see emptier shelves than food that is not safe to eat.

Friendly staff! Can always find what I am looking for. The building however needs some work and the aisles in the back are very cramped.
