Medium sized suburban park with combination of concrete and dirt trails. Nicely wooded and somewhat secluded that you don't feel you are in the middle of the Metroplex. Flat elevation, no large grades and a good place for birding during the right times of year. Children and Dog friendly. Remember, this is Texas nature, so be observant and give wildlife some respect.

Gorgeous park with beautiful dirt trails shaded and open air. Beautiful lakes and a couple of streams. The only problem I ran into was once I found a tic on one of my dogs after walking there. I hope that was just a one-off. Has anyone else found tics at this park?

I'm a photographer and used this spot for a family shoot. Gorgeous little vignettes with water, ducks, and nice shady spots made it perfect. This was all near the entrance. I'm sure there's even more nice spots inside on the trails.

Not sure about what's stocked in the ponds. The Bowman Spring is the largest pond located in the back of the property. Seems ti be the one most fished. I think the legend board located in the parking lot has info about the fish and a map of the trails and ponds.
