We recommend buying more than you think you'll need, if possible, so you don't run out of boxes at the wrong time. Keep in mind that when you buy boxes from U-Haul, you can return your unused boxes at any U-Haul Moving & Storage Center with a receipt for a full refund.

You can usually find free moving boxes in our Take-A-Box, Leave A Box* station. These are lightly used boxes that moving families leave behind for future families to take home, free of charge. Grab as many as you need! *Free boxes are a first-come, first-serve item and are not guaranteed to be available at any location.
