Very nice RV/Campground on the peninsula of Lake Lavon. Not a very good place to swim as there is no "beach" area to walk in but all in all beautiful!

Lake was beautiful.. Campsite was relaxing and quite. Lots of nature around to admire and take in. We could hear the Lions roar from Insync Exotics Big Cat sanctuary just across the lake from us every morning, added extra allure.

This park is incredible! The views are stunning! Each site has sewer, water, and 30amp (which was a true 30amps). We stayed for two weeks, water front, and it was really amazing! Going to come back as often as we can. Love it!

There are no closed signs, yet I was told to leave the park by a couple of aggressive individuals in a truck, yesterday while walking my dogs? Is part of the park closed to walking? They acted like they owned the park?

I've seen several people with campers and dogs. No rules against it, as far as I know. Just be a responsible pet owner and it should be fine.

Is there a place to park outside of camp grounds if you get back later the 10 pm? The days I am choosing to camp are work days for me and sometimes i get back after 10pm.

Would be at the gate and a good little way to walk. Prohibited parking but space at shack if you have the sticker on display

You have to reserve a spot online and can only stay 42 days. They open April 1st. This is not a place to live at. Its $30 a night for rv's and $15 a night for tents.
