The suite was quaint that's why 2 stars. Cleanliness is not like a Marriott should be. Booked because of the pool but on the website it never said it was down. 1 elevator has been out of service for a while said some people that come often. BAR has no bartender it is Closed. The only elevator that works is NERVE-WRACKING. EVERYTHING I SAID IS ON PIC. Some of the doors that demand a badge are stuck open. I WISH I BOOKED THE ORIGINAL MARRIOTT HOTEL. Only if they were honest online on what is current. Booked so my daughter could swim but EPIC fail. I wish I could post a video on the ride on the 1 working hotel

Very friendly and helpful staff and great location in Conshy couldn’t make up for a sub-par experience staying at this ‘Marriott’ in name only. From the online check in which did not work, to the found loose human hairs in the room and bed, to the well worn amenities that just seemed like it was less than clean, and don’t get me started on the air conditioning that was SO LOUD it had to be working….but wasn’t. Won’t be back anytime soon.

This hotel is clearly not up to the standards of a Marriott. We were extremely disappointed. The room door didn't originally lock, missing handle on the fridge door, no extra bedding for the sofa bed, not enough towels for 4 people, floor in bathroom was dirty, one roll of toilet paper, closet shelves were full of dust, peeling wallpaper, peeling picture frame in bathroom, dirty under bathroom sink cabinet. The list goes on. I felt dirty just sleeping there. The only thing positive was the staff. That's why I gave it a one star. The hotel was at full capacity and they were very friendly but very overwhelmed.

This hotel is clearly not ready to be open after their extended closure due to the damage from Hurricane Ida. While my room was in generally good condition, it was missing some furniture and supplies. The hot water was barely functioning, the ice maker not working at all. Early on, I requested some items to be re-stocked in the room, and while I think the staff did their best to assist, I came back to find my room unlocked and propped open, with no idea how long it had been left like that. This is a frankly stunning breach of security. Luckily, it did not seem like anything had been stolen. The rest of the hotel was in absolute disarray. No elevators, no fitness center, no pool or hot tub, no restaurant, lounge or business center, and no breakfast. Not even a convenience center or vending machine! Strangely, almost every light fixture in the hallways was damaged, as if they'd been vandalized. There was also debris and trash (from cleaned out rooms) scattered up and down the hallway to my room. Construction workers milling around and materials laid out all over. At no point during my reservation, confirmation, or online check-in was I informed there was anything wrong with the hotel at all. It was only when I arrived on-site that I was informed about the hurricane damage and all the amenities which were not available for my stay. I don't blame the employees - they seemed to be doing the best they could, and were extremely friendly and apologetic about the state of the hotel. This may be a nice hotel again in another month or so, but absolutely should not be accepting reservations now, and definitely should not be taking reservations without informing customers of the issues beforehand.
