The fried chicken was delicious, and I don't even like fried chicken! I was sad their lima beans weren't available when we went, but more of a reason for us to come back! And we will be back ☺️ catfish was yummy too...and the collard greens! Great spot, highly recommend to anyone wanting some scrumptious southern comfort food.

we were meeting friends from out of town and decided to dine at Southern Fresh. Everything was excellent. The service was very good, the food exceptional! The chicken was cooked perfectly, the red fish was delicious and the catfish was awesome. The surprise of the night for me were the collard greens….best side dish on the menu! Stop in, it is a very cool place in Safety Harbor.

Hate to write a bad review, but after a 90 minute wait, the food was flavorless, meatloaf was tough and over cooked, and a half piece of broccoli was served with dinner. Mac n cheese was cold. Redfish super salty.

Kind service; however, limited food choices and slow. We asked to sit outside and instead of cleaning a vacant table we were told it would be a 30 minute wait. Overall the food was good, similar to a home cooked meal. Mac n cheese has a little kick, 2/4 of us liked it, mashed potatoes were good. The highlight was the banana pudding, best I've had in years.

I would say no later than 4:00 for dinner, not sure about lunch time. They do get very busy, but worth it!

Yes.. probably a good idea to make a reservation since seating is limited and they are always very crowded
Was told they needed a well deserved break but will reopen in September.... I miss them too BUT don't give them a bad review they've been overwhelmed & under staffed all while turning out GREAT DELICIOUS FOOD WITH A SMILE. They'll be BACK....
