Not only do I feel great about saving money with my residential solar installations, I'm already saving more money than I thought I would. The employees did a great job explaining how my residential solar system works and have been very responsive from the very beginning. They got back to me right away after my consultation request and have been so good about answering quesitons I have, even after they installed my home solar panels! Thank you guys so much!

What a great decision for my business! We were paying WAY to much in electricity bills every month..the savings my company is already seeing from switching to solar panels about a year ago is unreal!

My thanks to Florida Power Services for one of the neatest installations have ever seen. This has been commented on at a very high level. Thank all of the installs and stand-by guys for this work and for the faultless testing phase of the stand-by sets. The whole job went perfectly right across the board and we have had heaps of praise via emails over yesterday and today from the highest levels at ISS.

We are so happy with our solar panels and Florida Power Services "The Solar Power Company". Our installation was completed in October of last year and we have not had an electric bill since. We have found Joe and his team to be honest and reliable. They took care of all the details as promised and the installation went very smoothly. All the guys were great but I have to send a special shout out to our sales guy Devaughn, he is the best! He is always there to answer any question, even to this day!

Questions & Answers

What is your estimate of the value added to my home if I have installed a solar energy system?

Cathy Lane | Sep 3, 2018
Joseph J Forest | Sep 3, 2019

This is a common question with many answers, I would say the added value would be the net cost of the system after the tax credit. There are other studies that suggest a $20 increase in property value for each dollar saved in electric costs. At the end of the day its only worth what the next buyer is willing to pay. Thanks for asking

What government rebates and incentives are currently available?

The Federal Tax Credit is the largest incentive availible on the purchase of a solar power system, until December 31st 2019 the credit is good for 30% (or example $27,000 system X 30% would give you a tax credit vauled at $8,100). The Sunshine State is also showing their support for the adoption of cleaner energy sources by exempting your purchase from sales tax (an estimated savings of $1,890 on the above $27,000 example).

How does the process of going solar work?

It all starts with your power consuption from the grid, calculating your annual kWh usage is step one. The easiest way to do this is to look at monthly usgae graph on your power bill, take the highest, mid, and lowest months, average them out, and multiple by 365. With that number you can size your solar system to produce X
