4 year old LG Frige was not cooling, called Lowe's warranty on Sunday and was able to book an appointment for Tuesday; tech arrived on time and quickly diagnosed the problem. With parts readily on-hand, made the proper repairs (replaced compressor and topped off freon). Tech was in and out within 1.5hrs. After reading the numerous negative reviews online, this experience was the complete opposite.

It's hard to get an answer and/or appointment. I've tried several times and days to no avail. You're transferred to an automative system and nothing happens. So, you begin the process over. You need a lot of patience, I still haven't gotten an appointment but I will keep trying. By the way, Sears has no answer to the issue.

It took over 2 weeks to repair our A/C after being told the part would be shipped overnight for 2 different times. we were able to order the part ourselves and have it delivered, but not Sears? Numerous attempts to speak to a person that could actually help us, lead to daily hours of being on hold, disconnected, sent to wrong departments, no response from the tech (Abe) and usually to a call center in India where you could tell a script was being used. Kevin from dispatch refused to call me back as did the "expedited team". We live in Florida where the temperatures were over 90 degrees and my husband has a lung disease. We had to buy a room A/C to survive and was told that we would be reimbursed but have of yet not seen anything. Sears used to have the best reputation for repair-not now.
