Pharmacist are just the worse. They used to be really good until they got new pharmacist. There’s one gentlemen there that likes to get in your personal business. He’s a newer guy. I’ve only seen him starting a few months back. He’s super rude and never wants to fill your scripts a couple days early. Which is a courtesy all pharmacies do. Just in case you’re going out of town or they have to order the scripts. One time my script was called in at 10:30am and didn’t get filled until after 7pm. My doctor wanted me to start a new medication right away and they took a few hours to fill it. This has happen over and over again..With the exception of Jason who is just super nice and quick, don’t waste your time. I go to Walgreens now and it’s been a pleasure doing business with them ever since I left public a few months back.

Jason and his entire team at the Publix Pharmacy deserve to be recognized for their hard work! They are friendly and extremely helpful. I’ve never seen such a busy pharmacy that works so tirelessly with such professionalism and patience regardless of the long line. They are working so hard to vaccinate their community and are true frontline workers during such a difficult past year. I am so grateful for their hard work in truly making a difference in Tampa!

Trash pharmacy... doesn’t matter if your script was sent in electronically over 6 hours ago- they don’t start working on it until you get here and wait an hour. Useless and rude techs.

Usually all I have for Publix is high praise, but today, that is no longer the case. I have several severe health issues that require a variety of certain medications. I live in the Plant City area, but my car is in the shop so I am staying with a friend in Tampa. I have stayed here before and have used this same Publix pharmacy several times in the past for the exact medication I am trying to fill now, with absolutely no problem. Well, today they turned me away. They said that I would have to fill this prescription closer to home. I explained my situation again, that I do not have a vehicle, so getting to a closer pharmacy to my home is impossible, and that I have never had a problem before. They did not care. What is the point of them having a company-wide system if they refuse to fill the prescriptions that I desperately need, and why do their "policies" change depending on which pharmacist is on duty? I am beyond disappointed in the pharmacy staff at this Publix.
