I'm a big fan of Aldi. Think it's a great place to go to try new things, stock up on staples and generally just stalk your pantry and fridge. Be prepared to move quickly at checkout, bring all your own bags, etc. If you're prepared to take on shopping's responsibilities it's a great place to shop.

They have several brands to chose from gluten frre and dairy free items.
My mother was there around that time and was forced to wait outside.
Their inventory changes with the seasons. You have to call to see if or when they might carry them.
EBT yes. I just checked the website under "methods of payment". No they do not accept WIC at this time.
They do. As stated, the inventory is not always the same. We've found the salmon, turkey and chicken to be reasonably priced and fresh.
You can bring your own bags or purchase either paper/plastic/or reusable bags there. You do have to bag your own groceries though

Yes they do sell them. They are not very high in protein. I have never had one, so I don't know about the taste.
