The helpers here are so friendly and I love their interactions with all the dogs. I've adopted 2 dogs from here with my future fiance and if I had the space I'd get more. If anyone is looking for a four legged friend definitely go here 1st. All these dogs need a good home.

Thank you for helping us through our new journey with Diesel(formerly known as Hotch). He is such a joy to have in our household and has fit right in to our family. We love him so very much. Thank you for all you do Animal Friends Alliance!

This is the best rescue! They gave us a lot of helpful information during the adoption process and after when our new pup was settling in. You can tell they really care about the animals in their care and I am so thankful for them allowing us to adopt our best friend.

Great staff! They really care about the animals! Very helpful! Made the adoption process easy! Can't say enough good things about them!Thank you so much for your kind words, Michael! And thank you for choosing to adopt. I hope Tanji is doing great--we'd love to see/hear updates if you would like to email them to [email protected].

Greetings Joy-please call the shelter at 970-224-3647 and a staff member can assist you with more information. Thank you!
Hi Warren, Thank you so much for asking and wanting to donate! We can always take towels that are in lightly-used condition and we can take single-layer blankets (like fleece throws). We cannot take comforters, pillows, or anything with filling because they cannot be properly sanitized. Thank you again!
This is an animal shelter, not a breeder. Please consider adopting a homeless dog instead of purchasing one from a breeder. Adoptable dogs and adoption fees can be found on the website: savinganimalstoday.org. :o)
Erin - if you are asking Animal Friends Alliance if they can accept your cats, please see their website about the process: https://www.savinganimalstoday.org/community-pet-resources/rehoming-your-pet/feline-intake/
I have a pretty small chihuahua. She needs to be rehomed
Trust your feelings and gut instincts.
Hi Jo-Ann, We only shelter dogs. If you are looking for a shelter that houses cats you can contact Fort Collins Cat Rescue or Larimer Humane Society. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
Hey Kaylee...best that you call them and find out first hand what thier policy is visit the website! Thanks for wanting to make a difference!😍👍
You can also set a price limit and tell them your priorities too. Generally $30-60 range, but like Whitney said, depends on size, breed, temperament
Yes, the amount depends on the age of the dog. The dog will be fixed, up to date on shots, and have a microchip registered to you! Adopting also gives you coupons and discounts to local vets, trainers, and pet stores. So your adoption fee really covers a lot!
Hi Carrie, We do not. The Larimer Humane Society in Loveland does. Their phone is 970-226-3647.
Check their website
Check out our Woof the Wait Pet Request Program under the adoption tab of our website. It was created for those looking to adopt a specific breed or breed mix!
There's a large button that says "DONATE" in orange at the top
It is a no-kill shelter. Our dod Sam is from Animal House. They do have a new larger and nicer location now.
