Stopped for breakfast. Their desserts look awesome. My mushroom cheese omelet was very good. My toasted cinnamon bun was also very good. Amanda, our server, so very nice.

I've eaten here on several occasions but last night was the worst. I paid $76.31 for cold food 2 tables that came in after us received their food before we received ours. Our waitress, Chrissy, disappeared several times, and I came back sweating and without my wine and later, without my hot tea. When I complained she offered a free dessert , my husband declined. The cashier didn't do anything about it and charged me the full $76.31. This is the doggy bag we brought home because the food was too cold to eat when served. I guess we'll stick with breakfast.

The food is really good and fresh. Portions are awesome 👌, the service... well, that's where they fall a little short and I don't think it's the severs fault... They do try hard to make sure you have what you need, but, I feel that they might be spread too short cause they're always in a hurry and sometimes overlook certain things. But, it's still a good place to eat

Great place to dine at especially if your from the city. I support local businesses it's a must there is not many diners left.

Hello Michael! Thanks for asking. Yes! You can order. It's $19 for small plain and $30 for larger plain.
Yes..I went to the diner for 48 years on our anniversary. Lobster tail & steak I now live in Texas but when I visit South Philly in the summer I eat all my breakfasts at the Oregon Diner
Yes they have takeout and a bakery with good pastries and dessert.😀
They usually are hiring, I would call and see..
The nasty attitude of the wait service as well as the person at the register has ALWAYS been a problem at the Oregon Diner. I gave one of the waitresses a $10 bill one time and told her to "buy a personality"! And God forbid you want sweet 'n low for your coffee or ice tea! It is like making a request for gold from Fort Knox! We NEVER eat at the diners in South Philly anymore even though that is where we live. We much prefer going over the Walt Whitman Bridge to The Meadows Diner on the Black Horse Pike. Their specials include soup AND salad bar, homemade, delicious meals for under $12. The waitstaff welcomes you warmly and you get such large portions that you can make two or three meals out of the one meal! I have NEVER returned to the Oregon Diner in 5 years!!!!
They're open 24hrs...I doubt it if they close early for Thanksgiving
