I shop here in lieu of the nearby Home Depot, simply because they typically have people on the floor to help you, and assistance taking out heavy loads. Not any more. No floor help present, and the cashier was "gracious" enough to point out the location of the shopping carts, so I could take out 150 pounds of fertilizer to my car.

I'll do just about anything to NOT go to the big orange. Sometimes this means I need to temper my expectations about price and selection. Rocky's Ace has consistently demonstrated they can compete on all fronts. It's much easier to get help, and the atmosphere isn't big loud warehouse. The only reason why they almost lost 1 star was the music. I was there last week and wanted to claw my eardrums out. However, it's s much better today. Thank you for that.

When all the other big box stores don't have it go to Rocky's East they always seem to have it and if they don't they can get it faster than the Big box store.

I love this place because it's like a mom n pop store. You can get all kinds of cool gadgets there. They have these very nice steak knives sold separately. The employees are kind and helpful. They have a decent variety of tools, housewares, and seasonal products.
