You have to take a number just to make an appointment with WIC or apparently to just get the phone number however my daughter has been trying to call them for a week no freaking answer all she needs is a appointment and these dumb people can't even do this they back there talking like they don't see people out here

The staff member who called me back on an immunization record for my child was the RUDEST person I have ever dealt with concerning medical needs! I don't work in the medical field and am not familiar with Florida SHOTS protocols on all the do's, don'ts and laws. This is not my child's primary medical facility - I was only interested in getting a copy of his shot record since his primary was backed up. She was a mean spirited individual and I hope she learns to have a bit more patience and empathy with the human race! Some phone etiquette wouldn't hurt either!

The front desk person was very rude and sarcastic when I tried to ask her some questions. I’ve seen her snap at people who wanted to ask her some questions as well. She was very unprofessional and told them if it wasn’t their turn, to sit back down (in a mean tone). The place is also very unsanitary. Slow service is another downside. I waited for 2+ hours to get called in. The only thing that works for this place is the cheap prices for immunizations.

I go here for my WIC appointments, and when it's checks reload, I am usually out in less than 10 minutes. For all other WIC appointment, I'll be out in about an hour. The ladies at the wic are very nice and some speak spanish. They have dental office here too. For vaccines shoots no appointment is needed just walk in. They are free. But if you need the paper for kids school or wic they charge $10 for the copy. If you get the shoots they include the vaccination paper record for free. Parking lot is huge. Bathrooms are clean. Lady that speaks spanish at desk is really nice and helpfull. Never had any issue going here before.

It's actually pretty cheap.... especially for children. Only thing I, myself, find costly, is if you need adult immunizations.
Make an appointment with a general practice doctor and get a referral for a heart doctor.
Yes they will go by income
May need to call
They do not do mammograms at that facility, but if you make appointment with adult health dr there, they can refer you to get one done
Yes, testing is $50 if uninsured.
Try a Lakeland Clinic.
Last time I went there was in August and they were cutting down on the services that they provide. I suggest that you call them to find out if they still provide vaccines your best bet is the Lakeland health department.
