If you haven't been out to deer island than you are missing out for sure! There is a nice beach, plenty of walking/biking paths, a dock for fishing, and lots of wild blackberries (at least when we were there). We took our longboards and cruised the perimeter of the island. You also get great views of the Boston skyline from up on the hill.

Amazing place for a short walk, hike, or run. It provides a lovely view to Boston. Beware that you may not be able to find parking on site but there are street parkings located a bit further away from the island.
